Cooking

Perfect for anyone, whether you're a seasoned cook wanting to learn some new things or a beginner just starting your journey. You can start with the basics and work into more advanced activities including savory and sweet treats, lunches and dinners. Cooking programs are great at helping with Health and Nutrition, gaining a sense of independence, and providing a chance to form bonds with people who enjoy cooking.

Fitness

Whether you're wanting to work on fitness for your health and well-being or simply for the social benefits, we have a range of programs that could be suitable. We can broadly address fitness goals through sports and workout-based programs to help your mind and body.

Life Skills

Be it personal development, resilience, or just basic life skills, we have a wide variety of life skill programs suitable for you. Our programs can cover anything from safe relationships, to boundaries and self-care, budgeting and mathematics, home maintenance and more. If you can't find a program that suits your needs, let us know. We would love to help design a program that works for you.

Entertainment

Have fun with a group of peers by learning how to paint, improve your photography skills or create hand-made gifts for Christmas, birthdays or other special occasions.

Social Skills

Improve your social skills and make new friends. Learn social skills in a fun way by learning through our board games, card games programs and more. If you want to be more involved in your community, try our volunteering or fundraising activities as well!

Frequently asked questions

Our programs are generally delivered at a 1:5 ratio, depending on the program and types of activities involved. Each program allows for some non-face to face hours for report writing and other activities.
Our programs can be accessed by participants with an active NDIS plan, or through fee for service for individuals who do not have a plan. Generally, our programs are billed under 04 Assistance with Social, Economic & Community Participation or 09 Increased Social and Community Participation, however they may be billed to different items depending on the type of program and activities involved.
Depending on the program you select, we work on a wide variety of different skills to build capacity in an area of your choice. This may include things like improved cooking skills, better understanding of emotions, enhanced verbal communication and feeling more confident.

Step 2

Make an Access Request

To start your application, call the NDIS at 0492 020 125

If you need assistance, reach out to your Local Area Coordinator, Early Childhood Early Intervention partner, the local National Disability Insurance Agency, or Breakthru for support.

Step 3

Gather Supporting Evidence

This may involve sharing details about your disability and how it affects your daily life.

Providing recent information and collaborating with your healthcare providers can strengthen your case for NDIS eligibility.

Step 4

Prepare for your planning meeting

Once the Access Request decision is done, you’ll receive a written notice of the decision.

Afterward, you’ll meet with an NDIS community partner to determine the support level for your NDIS plan.
