Employer Wage Subsidy Scheme

What wage subsidies are available?

Wage subsidies are subject to eligibility criteria for both employee and employer. By working with Breakthru, you’ll have access to the following wage subsidies.

Restart wage subsidy

Receive up to $10,000 in financial support when you hire a job seeker aged 50 or older.

Wage start subsidy

Providing certain obligations are met, receive up to $6,000 in financial support when you hire a job seeker aged 18 to 49 years.

Wage subsidy scheme

Up to $1,650 in financial support is available to employers who hire a job seekers registered with a Disability Employment Services provider.

Step 3

Gather Supporting Evidence

This may involve sharing details about your disability and how it affects your daily life.

Providing recent information and collaborating with your healthcare providers can strengthen your case for NDIS eligibility.

Step 4

Prepare for your planning meeting

Once the Access Request decision is done, you’ll receive a written notice of the decision.

Afterward, you’ll meet with an NDIS community partner to determine the support level for your NDIS plan.
